Ouzo, the Greek drink that has a taste of Anis and mixed with water becomes milky and drinkable due to the strong clean alcohol strength. Ouzo or a Tsiporo are what you drink with the Greek food when at a Greek Mezedopoleio. Our favourite Ouzo is a Barbayannis Ouzo that actually have more than one strenght of alcohol. We have been preferring the Blue bottle that has a nice clean strength of 46% and a Anis spice that is comfortable. Barbayannis Ouzo is traditionally from Lesvos as most of the Greek Ouzo’s.
